POLICE and local fire brigades are on the scene of an oil and fuel spill just off the San Remo Bridge, on the Newhaven side.
The incident is believed to have happened shortly after 10am on Tuesday morning, December 13, closing one lane of the bridge while CFA crews attend to the spilled oil and fuel.
Highway Patrol Police are managing the traffic flow with the assistance of the CFA and traffic is getting through in an orderly fashion.
The truck is on the side of the road and may be waiting for salvage or someone to deal with the oil and or fuel.
