Police are investigating a crash in Stony Creek on Thursday, 10 August.
It is believed a solo rider came off his motorcycle on the South Gippsland Highway just after midday.
The male Leading Senior Constable was airlifted to hospital with non-threatening-injuries.
The cause of the collision is being investigated and remains ongoing.
Police have restricted access to one lane of the highway, in the vicinity of Charlton's Road, so take care.
