THE 2023 student leaders at Bass Valley Primary School were presented with their badges recently by member for Bass, Jordan Crugnale, at a recent assembly held in front of students, staff, parents and friends.
The positions were advertised early in the school year, and students wrote written applications and sat an interview to replicate real life scenarios and develop their life skills.
Successful applicants will fill a huge range of leadership roles at Bass Valley Primary School including School Captain and Vice Captains, House Captains, Bus Leaders, Sustainability Captains, STEAM Captains and Sports Captains.
School principal Sharon King said she was, “excited by all the opportunities that the school leaders at our school get to experience, from sporting and STEAM programs, to assisting with our school’s sustainability centre, wetlands, and day to day school tasks for students to showcase their leadership skills for our entire community to benefit from.”
