Stony Creek named venue for qualifying final this Saturday

TARWIN fans will not have to travel out of the area to support their club’s tilt for their first premiership in a generation.

Due to the recent heavy rainfall, Fish Creek Football Netball Cluub has advised that the condition of their ground means it will not be available for the Qualifying Final between Tarwin and Newborough which was to be played this Saturday, August 27.

The day has been shifted to Stony Creek.

“After careful consideration and a ground inspection, the decision has been made to move all football netball grades Qualifying Finals to Stony Creek,” said Pauline Tantau, Secretary Mid Gippsland Football Netball League.

Sunday's Elimination final between Boolarra and Yinnar remains scheduled for Newborough on Sunday, August 28.
