THE Surf Parade Pathway Stage 3a from Veronica Street to Ozone Street in Inverloch is now complete and open for the community.
The project was finished earlier this month, however, contractors will be onsite to carry out some minor works over the next several weeks.
The $905,000 shire-funded project began in February this year and has seen the existing path extended from Veronica Street to Ozone Street.
Works have included a new 2.5 metre concrete path, fencing, retaining walls, bollards, landscaping and construction of 75 parallel parking bays in this section.
The next stage from Ozone Street through to the Surf Life Saving Club (Stage 3b) is being reviewed, which will consider an appropriate design to comply with DELWP requirements.
This project is part of Council’s Aspirational Network Pathway Plan 2016 and Active Bass Coast 2018-2028.
