MIRBOO NORTH hosts Hill End at Tigerland this Saturday, with both clubs coming off round 14 byes.

In round 13 on July 12, Mirboo North defeated Thorpdale by four points and Hill End won its first game of 2025 against Stony Creek.

The mighty Tigers have replaced Tarwin in the top six, following the Sharks' surprise seven-point loss to Toora at Shark Park.

Three of Mirboo North's four remaining matches are at home and include a clash with Foster, the competition's current top team.

Prior to that, the Tigers travel to Stony Creek and conclude their home and away season against Boolarra on August 16 at Tigerland.

Put simply, if Mirboo North keeps winning, it will make the finals.

2. Profound football thought is conveyed in language of simplicity, authority and purity.

3. Effective disposals make football teams more productive, for with productivity comes success on the scoreboard.

4. The value of a quality possession is doubled when it's delivered effectively to a teammate.

5. Every footballer in Australia knows how to seek knowledge he doesn't possess; however, not all players know how to find what they already know.

6. Bombing the ball long advances the Sherrin 50 metres, but there is no guarantee it won't come back from whence it came.

7. In his autobiography, titled 'Sitting On The Interchange Bench', a retired reserves footballer wrote, “Throughout my playing career, I always felt I should have been picked in the seniors; however, other than my mother, no one else ever agreed with me.”
