STEVE Bromby took out his 12th straight Korumburra Golf Club Championship at the weekend and did so with a flourish on Sunday, with a fabulous, record-breaking round of 65, unblemished by a single bogey.
In that sort of company, it wasn’t a demerit for up-and-coming youngster Billie Wrigley to finish second across the four rounds.
As well as the new course record on Sunday, the championship series finished with a playoff in C Grade.
