Fantastic Foster Show returns in February

THE Foster & District Agricultural Show is back at the beautiful Foster Showgrounds for 2022.

Saturday, February 26, will bring our community back together again to celebrate the region’s hard work during tough times and showcase agriculture in our region.

The Foster Show really is an event for everyone, from fresh-faced kids to those of us with a bit more wear and tear. Because it is an event for everyone, we have had to put some COVID safety measures in place to keep our community safe.

COVID restrictions will be in place as per government regulations applicable at the time of the show.

Currently, the Foster Show will require proof of vaccination upon entry and sign in using the QR codes or sheets provided. Two gates will be operating for admission into the show. EFTPOS will be available at both gates to reduce cash handling.

As you enter the showground you will notice hand sanitiser stations there for your convenience. Please remember to maintain social distancing.

Mask wearing will be in line with government recommendations at the time, for example, at present they are recommended outdoors when unable to maintain social distancing. COVID Marshals will be wearing green vests around the grounds to encourage COVID safety and we hope that show patrons will respect their advice.

Furthermore, entry for events/competitions will be able to be contactless via our website fostershow.com until Monday, February 21 (see exceptions). Please pick up a show schedule from local businesses including Foster Post Office, Bendigo Bank, Foster Foodworks, Sam’s Patch and many more to see what will be on for the day!
