THE section one grand final saw the undefeated Strezlechi Sisters play the Gazelles for the Wonthaggi and District Indoor Night Netball Winter Competition 2022.
For a short time in the beginning, neither side could score, and the first quarter ended with Strezlechi Sisters up by one.
The battle continued and then they increased their lead to three.
The Gazelles then got within one, so the Strezlechi Sisters took it up a notch and took it to a new level.
All in all, it was an excellent game displaying beautiful
defensive work and ball movement from both sides, every player played their part, and it was nice to see Mums and daughters playing together too.
The section two Grand Final was between FairNuff and the Bench Warmers.
A very solid start by FairNuff saw them with a 10-goal lead at half time.
The Bench warmers had a great second half and the final score was 34 to 23.
The season proved to have many very competitive and high standard games throughout the season next season will start in Feb 2023.
