Ladies
JULIE Brannaghan (26) won Wednesday’s competition with 34 pts. 
Trudy Olden (37) finished runner-up with 25 pts, following the c/b with Shelley Snooks (18). 
Sherrin Solly was our only NTP winner for the day, on the 1st green. 
Saturday, we had some fine weather for golf. 
Congratulations to Jennie Loughnan (54) who won with a great 36 pts. 
It is fabulous to see Jennie playing so well despite some heavier conditions. 
Jenny Blackmore (28) was runner-up with 27 pts after a c/b with Sherrin Solly (22). 
Shelley Snooks was NTP on the 1st and Julie Hillberg was closest on the 13th green.

WONTHAGGI

THE June Monthly medal was finally played after some rescheduling from acting captain Catherine.
There were 22 players setting out, counting every stroke and put. 
There was a tight battle for the medal with only a couple of shots between all grades.
Marg Johnson made a couple of timely puts to get her over the line to win A Grade and June’s Medal with 89 (13) 76 nett.
The B Grade winner was Marg Ryan 107 (29) 78 nett. 
C Grade winner was Dot Garry 107 (30) 77 nett, which included a great birdie two on the 8th which was the NTP. 
Catherine Bolding also birdied the 8th.
NTP: 2nd Leesa Willmot. Best Scratch score and putting (29) was won by Marg Johnson. 
BDL: Merryn Dear 78, Yvonne Everitt 79, Catherine Bolding 81, Leesa Willmot 81 and Irene Walsh 81.

FOR a variety of reasons, the field was smaller than usual. 
As a result, it was decided there would not be grades but winners and runner-up. 
The winner Jenny Riseley came in with a lovely score of 35pts off a handicap of 27. 
The runner-up Inge Giliam on a handicap of 33, came in with 33pts. 
BDL went to Marg Tuckett with 31 pts. 
Elly Berryman won the 9-hole competition with 14 pts.
NTPs’ 8th Elly Berryman, 11th Inge Giliam and 17th Marg Tuckett.
