THOSE in the Dumbalk area are encouraged to start preparing for the upcoming fire season, which is likely to begin earlier this year, by popping into the Dumbalk Fire Brigade this Sunday October 5 for an Open Day.
The event runs from 10am until 12.30pm, with friendly brigade members ready for a chat and to answer questions.
As well as learning what to consider when preparing your fire plan and how to minimise fuel loads around your property, it’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in joining the brigade to find out more about what it offers and the types of roles available.
While Dumbalk Fire Brigade has gained a few new members this year, more are always welcome.
