Labor Candidate announced for Gippsland South 2022 Victorian Election

GIPPSLAND South Labor have announced that Denise Ryan will be the candidate for the 2022 Victorian State Election. 

Since the State Election in 2018, Denise has continued her commitment to the community and is looking to build on that momentum.

Denise has an incredible set of diverse life experiences. 

Denise lives on a dairy farm with her family in Denison. 

She has previously worked in healthcare and small business - all in regional and rural areas and while raising a large family. 

In addition to raising and providing for her family Denise has been a community leader, significantly contributing to associations that advocate and progress important social and economic causes. 
This includes the Marley Street Community Hub, the Host Farms Association, the Twelve Apostles Tourism Association, and the United Dairy Farmers Association.

Issues relating to vulnerable people, particularly people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, women, and people with a disability are areas of great concern for Denise. 

Gippsland South Labor are looking forward to highlighting the good work of the Andrews’ government in the area, as well as the leadership shown on renewable energy and the environment, cost of living, health, education - especially early childhood education.
