Long list of achievements

I congratulate your paper on presenting Jordan Crugnale’s fantastic achievements as the State Member for the seat of Bass. 

I have been aware of her excellent work covered by your newspaper. 

However, it was only when I met her for the first-time last week that I fully understood her passion for helping communities meet their needs. 

The list of achievements in physical and social infrastructure delivered and planned is testimony to her unstinting efforts. 

Therefore, I feel Jordan needs to be re-elected to ensure her considerable achievements and understanding of the electorate’s needs can continue. 

I urge anyone interested in learning more about Jordan to read her first speech to the Parliament when elected in 2018. 

Jordan’s speech not only acknowledged Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Boon Wurrung language, but she also spoke of the hurt, dispossession and scars that run deep from the hands of white people. 

Acknowledging many wrongs still need righting, a history that needs retelling and a relationship that needs recasting so we can all walk forward as Australians together. 

Electing Jordan to the State seat of Bass in a Daniel Andrews Government will see this vital work continue.
