Slow down please

I have lived here for many years and am horrified how fast the holiday makers are speeding both around town and our beaches this summer making it very hard on the locals.

While attempting to cross Toorak Road at the weekend, as soon as I stepped one foot onto the road, I could see not one car was prepared to stop even for a senior member of the community.  

They would just rather run you down!

When are the public going to listen to the police and ambulance warnings to slow down as speed kills!

I do not wish to end up as a road fatality due to these extremely selfish individuals.

No wonder the vast majority of the community count the days left until they have all gone home.
