LEONGATHA Splash hosted the first Gippsland-wide swimming competition of the year on Sunday.

Six clubs were involved, and it was a highly successful day. 

Zac Sherar, Rahni Matheson, Cooper Quaife, Will Simmons and Josh Hunt represented South Gippsland Bass Swimming Club on Sunday.

South Gippsland Bass Swimming Club had 110 swimmers involved, mainly targeting the club’s new and emerging juniors.

The event gave them experience at a swimming competition and on that measure, it was a terrific result.
