Stan McFee Memorial

WESTERNPORT Field and Game held the Stan McFee Memorial/Club Championship on January 14-15 with 83 shooters competing on Saturday and 102 shooters on Sunday.

Three rounds of 33/33/34 were shot Saturday and 2 rounds of 38/37 with Julian Lieshout, Wade McGirr and Bobby Jacobsen shooting the perfect 25/25 on Saturday and Robert Passarin and Brian Sartori on Sunday.

Gold sponsors for the event were Bettsy’s Glass, Plumbers Now Contracting and sponsors Cowes TV and Antenna Systems, and J&K Handyman Services.

Overall scores:

Club Champion and High Gun: Jarryd Passarin with a score of 161.

Grade winners are:

AA Grade: 1st Robert Passarin (159), 2nd Alan White (158) and 3rd Wade McGirr (156).

A Grade: 1st Matt Harris-Spencer (159), 2nd Bobby Jacobsen (155) and 3rd Julian Lieshout (152).

B Grade: 1st Nick Trajkovski (128), 2nd Trevor Columbine (127) and 3rd Jarvis Atkinson (126).

C Grade: 1st Sam Columbine (126), 2nd Anthony Koumis (113) and 3rd Jai Derrick (112).

Veterans: 1st Lionel Bradley (143), 2nd Warwick Cumberland (119) and 3rd Danny Genovese (96).

Ladies: 1st Sarah Fritsch (135), 2nd Anna Wratten (135) and 3rd Brooke Tangey (134).

Juniors: 1st Will Witkowski (148), 2nd Mitchell Briscoe (78) and 3rd Brianna Tangey (42).

Our next shoot is on Sunday February 19, consisting of 75 targets with nominations commencing at 9:30am. MCC Field and Game will again join us in a friendly inter club competition.

Self-nominations will be available through MCMS before the event. Clay target shooting is suitable for all genders, ages and fitness levels with juniors shooting for free.
