Emma Ryde reaches 1000 goal milestone at Leongatha

TOWERING Warragul GS Emma Ryde achieved her second 1,000 goal milestone at Leongatha today setting a new record for the Gippsland Netball League.

The first ever Gippsland League shooter to hit 1000 in a regular season Emma received standing applause from a big crowd of supporters and well-wishers.

No stranger to records Emma Ryde also shot 1000 goals in one season playing for the Somerville Football Netball Club in 2022.

Supporters were generous in their praise.

“Amazing, congratulations Em, incredible effort.”

The final score a convincing victory for Warragul 77 to Leongatha 41.
