A Grade, Division 2
WITH a whopping 123 runs added to the scoreboard by opening batsman Jake Best, Foster enjoyed a convincing win over Kilcunda-Bass on Saturday.

Mitchell Jones later added 24 runs and was not out at stumps.
Captain Ryley Duff and Chris Peckett were Kilcunda-Bass’ top bowlers, taking 2/32 and 2/33 respectively.
Other wickets were claimed by Ben Rookes and Todd Smith.
Foster went home winners with a score of 6/251.
Glen Alvie no match for Le Page
AN impressive 119-run haul from MDU’s Paul Le Page made short work of the contest against Glen Alvie.
Glen Alvie scored 193 the previous week, and MDU went into Saturday’s innings hungry for the win.
Batting at first drop, Le Page put on a great performance and was not out at stumps.
Mitch McGrath and Steve Arnup also contributed well to the final tally, adding 26 and 25 runs respectively.
Both were sidelined at the hands of Glen Alvie captain Stephen Kennedy.
Kennedy claimed 2/32, with the only other wicket claimed by vice captain Nathan Findlay.

Cougars stand victorious
CREAM of the crop Nyora was unable to hold back Koonwarra L/RSL on Saturday.
Nyora was tasked with defending 10/182.
It was looking like it was going to be a battle for the Cougars, with Nyora bowler Aaron Kaddatz taking out the top of the order.
Kaddatz claimed 5/54 for the day.
Callum Buckland turned the game around for the Cougars, making 50 runs before he was sidelined by a catch from Aaron Thompson.
Kayden Scrimshaw top scored with 61 runs and was not out at stumps.
For Nyora, wickets also fell to Mitch Rowe, captain Henry Dolphin and Aidan Simmons.

Nerrena claim the win
NERRENA was too strong for Wonthaggi Club, as it successfully defended its score of 10/219.
Club’s opening partnership of David Britt and Sean Roche had the home side off to a nice start with 35 and 31 runs respectively.
Some skilful bowling from Nerrena’s Zack Trease kept Club under the pump.
Trease claimed 3/30 with William Croatto also bowling well, taking 2/31.
An additional 27 and 35 runs were later added by Heath Dobbie and Mitchell Davey, but the result would see Club fall short.
