Woolamai Races set to commence this Saturday
That’s one! Jockey Grant Seccombe brings the Troy Kilgower-trained Combustion back to the winner’s circle after the first race, with the assistance of Clerk of the Course Andrew Taylor, the first of three winners on the six-race card at Woolamai during last year’s December 3 event.
It’s shaping up to be a fun weekend at Woolamai on Saturday.
It’s shaping up to be a fun weekend at Woolamai on Saturday.

RACING’S spring carnival 2025 continues when racing resumes at Woolamai this coming Saturday, November 29.

The usual six-race program kicks off around 1pm with the last around 4.30pm.

Recent rains have ensured the track will have good grass cover, with even going right across the track.

The club has been busy off-season, improving conditions for patrons. Most notably, the viewing area under the famous elm trees has been extended by around 50 metres west, giving patrons more room to spread out their picnic chairs and mats and giving a longer on-course view of the straight.

The big screen will again be a feature at meetings, showing local, metropolitan and interstate races along with musical and kids’ entertainment.

Tickets can be purchased online at Woolamairaces.com.au or on the day at the course, four kilometres east of the Bass Highway turnoff.
